Claire McTaggart started working as a political analyst, project coordinator and research associate for Dr. Ben-Meir in 2008, with a focus on Middle East affairs, negotiations, and US foreign policy. Previously she has worked for the Council on Foreign Relations, the Huffington Post, and the Brooklyn Rail. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2006 with an honors degree in English and writing and also holds a certificate from New York University in Middle East studies.
Alexandra Stein
Alexandra Stein began working with Dr. Ben-Meir in the summer of 2009. Her focus is on diplomacy and public relations. Alexandra currently attends Columbia University where she majors in Middle Eastern Studies with a concentration in Political Science. Previously, Alexandra interned for the US Department of Justice and the NY State Attorney General's Office. She is personally invested in conflict resolution in the Middle East and hopes to spend time abroad to practice her Hebrew and Arabic.
Skylar Ritchie
Skylar Ritchie has been at the office of Dr. Ben-Meir since the summer of 2009, where she focuses on international development and public relations. Ritchie received her Master's of Arts from the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego, where she wrote her thesis on narrative mediation and the development of social identities in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Skylar has previously worked at the Palestinian Center for the Discrimination of Democracy and Community Development in Ramallah, West Bank, as well as the NGO Committee for Disarmament, Peace, and Security at the United Nations.
