The Writing Is On The Wall: Trump is Intent on Hijacking the Midterm Election

Terrified by the likelihood of losing the Republican majority in the House and facing the prospect of impeachment, Trump is determined to steal the midterm election by any means, however menacing or unconstitutional they may be, to deprive the Democrats of their nearly assured victory. The Democrats must be fully prepared to push back against…

Iran, War, And The Illusion Of Control

As the US-Iran negotiations regarding the latter’s nuclear program and the threat of attacking Iran loom high, both the Trump administration and Iran ought to consider very carefully the potentially colossal regional repercussions if they do not reach an agreement. If Netanyahu convinces Trump during their meeting, at the time of this writing, that attacking…

The Democrats Need A Concrete Governing Agenda

Since Trump reassumed the presidency, the rank and file of the Democrats have been busy criticizing, for good reason, Trump’s unhinged exercise of power. Given Trump’s onslaught on just about every norm of America’s political, cultural, and economic way of life, the Democrats cannot possibly exhaust the range of criticism they can level at Trump…

The Netanyahu Government’s Insatiable Thirst for Blood

It was hoped that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, agreed upon on October 10, 2025, after months of grueling negotiations, would bring an end to the horrific death and destruction that had been inflicted on Gaza by Israel for two years. But tragically, our hopes were shattered, as the killing of Palestinian women and…

Since taking office in January 2025, the Trump administration has pursued an unprecedented mass deportation agenda: expanded expedited removals, offshore detention at Guantanamo, transfers to a notorious prison in El Salvador, termination of protected status, and deportations. Families are being torn apart and people are disappearing into detention. This is the cruelest immigration regime in modern American history.

The Epstein files are not creating a new story about Trump; they are reinforcing an old one. The issue is not whether Trump was charged. It is about credibility, transparency, and the standards we expect from the presidency. When repeated ties to a convicted sex offender become politically acceptable, it signals a troubling shift in public expectation from the holder of the highest office on the land.

A 10-year-old child in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, took his own life because his family could not afford basic school supplies, books, and pens. His school asked families to pay fees they simply didn’t have. This is not just a local tragedy; it is a global failure. We live in a world where wealth is growing into the millions and billions, yet millions of children are left to suffer in silence, ashamed of poverty, locked out of education, and made to feel like a burden. This cruelty is not accidental; it is the result of systems that value profit over people and ignore children until it’s too late. No child should feel their life is worth less than a notebook. ... Israel’s PM Netanyahu is the one who is craving for the US to attack Iran with the ultimate objective of effecting regime change. Netanyahu believes that presently Iran is at its weakest state, due to the public outrage about the economic hardship, the degraded forces of its “axis of resistance” -- Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, and its weakened defenses resulting from the 12-day war with Israel, joined briefly by the US. Attacking Iran under the pretext of destroying what is left of Iran's nuclear enrichment program, which Trump claims to have been obliterated by US bombing last June, makes no sense. Iran does not pose an imminent danger; attacking it now will be disastrous for the region and the US’ long-term interests. Why would Trump attack Iran and why now? Neither the Mullahs nor Trump wants war. I hope that Trump will not be fooled into following Netanyahu’s obsession with Iran and get the US mired in a war that no one can win in the long run. ... Trump has become a central force in undermining the global human rights system. Human Rights Watch’s World Report 2026 warns that the rules-based international order is being crushed, under relentless pressure from the Trump administration and reinforced by long-standing efforts by China and Russia. From attacks on free speech and judicial independence to deportations that risk torture, Trump’s actions have had devastating global repercussions. Combined with authoritarian influence from Beijing and Moscow, the damage threatens the foundations of democracy itself. Democracies cannot remain passive; they must unite with civil society and international institutions now, or watch the global human rights system collapse. ... See MoreSee Less

Let me translate. The United States is no longer the sugar daddy for the world.

The rest of the world isn’t our responsibility. Only American citizens are what’s important.

Might have something to do with the United States not funding the world anymore

I understand why there is a stairway to heaven and a highway to hell!

But you can never specify what specific law has been violated

Not everything is a human right

Upholding U.S. federal law.

Elaborate please cant say I see it this way but if compelling evidence exist please present it.

The infants are upset because he doesn't play the game, Thankfully!

Deportations is not undermining human rights. It is enforcing the law just like every other country does with people who unlawfully enter their countries.

America is not a democracy, it's a republic where we're allowed to have a voice. If the world doesn't like that, I've got some advice for you.

Imagine blaming the actions of many just on one person.

Victims have rights too. That's seems to be forgotten

Maybe the rest of the world you speak of is part of the problem.

Virtue posture much?

Now he's responsible for everything? When the cat has kittens you would blame him too. 🤣

We live in a global economy. We need allies. We can't separate ourselves from the rest of the world. But we could give 40 billion to Argentina

Funny enough you don't get arrested for memes in the US.

Let's hear what human rights have actually been violated, including the context in which alleged violations have occurred. To the ones who will laugh at this... I know I am triggering you with this. The joke's on you😉

Human rights are the new world order?

The rules based international order is good at talking about a problem. When it comes to solving them, not so much

Are you drunk?

The Hague is waiting for him.

I love how everybody like has all these accusations, but don’t explicitly say how

Yeah, he’s a real mover shaker! It’s why I voted for him. Best president ever!

Families living in fear under the Trump administration’s mass deportation agenda, they are afraid to leave their homes, send their children to school, go to work, or seek medical care. Some are skipping life-saving treatment just to avoid detention. Despite a projected $2.9 billion budget deficit, California chose compassion over cruelty, funding food assistance, basic needs, and legal support through local organizations. While critics attack the decision, the message is clear: human dignity matters. California will not turn its back on families when they are most vulnerable. Governor Newsom should be commended for his humanitarian efforts to protect those in need. ... See MoreSee Less

How about you help your citizens who can't afford heat and food

Maybe they should use the time in their homes to get their paperwork in order, and file for legal citizenship.

Immigrants are those who followed the process of coming here legally. Everybody supports them.

We love and should give a leg up to immigrants that have a desire to assimilate and be productive Americans, it is totally a different story if they are in our country illegally. You would do well to know the difference.

Don’t forget allot of the names in the files live in Cali. Let’s focus there first.

Immigrants or illegal immigrants. There is a huge difference.

They understood the possible consequences when they came here unfortunately

Maybe they can help him read in what ever language

My question is legal or illegal or both?

Maybe they can read his speaches while he eats KFC

He then said "don't move near me"

It's kind of like when you don't have a license, but you're driving. (You really should get your paperwork in order.)

California's economy depends on our immigrant workers.

Just it's residents

Just the California Citizens

Or the Vets how defended this country living on the streets

No he'll just turn his back on the Tax paying citizens of California

LoL, who's going to pick our grapes

For all the racism & ignorance here- the US immigration system 1) promotes family unification 2) the process takes 1 1/2 yrs to 3 just for work visas( longer typically) as one example. It is not a crime to be in America during this processing time. Others for many reasons are taking longer. People are scared … people are getting grabbed from going thru the process at courts.. just one category of gaining legal status. So learning about our s l o w system , understanding how immigrants are a positive and integral group of humans leads to compassion for me and like what Newsome is doing is but one step closer to helping not adding harm.

No they will just turn their backs on legal American citizens

Have an ice day

Just it’s legal citizens…

Maybe he can get them to teach him how to read.

Seen a very informative documentary, I think it is important that others see it too

How about help homeless people first
