The Writing Is On The Wall: Trump is Intent on Hijacking the Midterm Election

Terrified by the likelihood of losing the Republican majority in the House and facing the prospect of impeachment, Trump is determined to steal the midterm election by any means, however menacing or unconstitutional they may be, to deprive the Democrats of their nearly assured victory. The Democrats must be fully prepared to push back against…

Iran, War, And The Illusion Of Control

As the US-Iran negotiations regarding the latter’s nuclear program and the threat of attacking Iran loom high, both the Trump administration and Iran ought to consider very carefully the potentially colossal regional repercussions if they do not reach an agreement. If Netanyahu convinces Trump during their meeting, at the time of this writing, that attacking…

The Democrats Need A Concrete Governing Agenda

Since Trump reassumed the presidency, the rank and file of the Democrats have been busy criticizing, for good reason, Trump’s unhinged exercise of power. Given Trump’s onslaught on just about every norm of America’s political, cultural, and economic way of life, the Democrats cannot possibly exhaust the range of criticism they can level at Trump…

The Netanyahu Government’s Insatiable Thirst for Blood

It was hoped that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, agreed upon on October 10, 2025, after months of grueling negotiations, would bring an end to the horrific death and destruction that had been inflicted on Gaza by Israel for two years. But tragically, our hopes were shattered, as the killing of Palestinian women and…

Since taking office in January 2025, the Trump administration has pursued an unprecedented mass deportation agenda: expanded expedited removals, offshore detention at Guantanamo, transfers to a notorious prison in El Salvador, termination of protected status, and deportations. Families are being torn apart and people are disappearing into detention. This is the cruelest immigration regime in modern American history.

The Epstein files are not creating a new story about Trump; they are reinforcing an old one. The issue is not whether Trump was charged. It is about credibility, transparency, and the standards we expect from the presidency. When repeated ties to a convicted sex offender become politically acceptable, it signals a troubling shift in public expectation from the holder of the highest office on the land.

Israel’s PM Netanyahu is the one who is craving for the US to attack Iran with the ultimate objective of effecting regime change. Netanyahu believes that presently Iran is at its weakest state, due to the public outrage about the economic hardship, the degraded forces of its “axis of resistance” -- Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, and its weakened defenses resulting from the 12-day war with Israel, joined briefly by the US. Attacking Iran under the pretext of destroying what is left of Iran's nuclear enrichment program, which Trump claims to have been obliterated by US bombing last June, makes no sense. Iran does not pose an imminent danger; attacking it now will be disastrous for the region and the US’ long-term interests. Why would Trump attack Iran and why now? Neither the Mullahs nor Trump wants war. I hope that Trump will not be fooled into following Netanyahu’s obsession with Iran and get the US mired in a war that no one can win in the long run. ... Trump has become a central force in undermining the global human rights system. Human Rights Watch’s World Report 2026 warns that the rules-based international order is being crushed, under relentless pressure from the Trump administration and reinforced by long-standing efforts by China and Russia. From attacks on free speech and judicial independence to deportations that risk torture, Trump’s actions have had devastating global repercussions. Combined with authoritarian influence from Beijing and Moscow, the damage threatens the foundations of democracy itself. Democracies cannot remain passive; they must unite with civil society and international institutions now, or watch the global human rights system collapse. ... See MoreSee Less

Let me translate. The United States is no longer the sugar daddy for the world.

The rest of the world isn’t our responsibility. Only American citizens are what’s important.

Might have something to do with the United States not funding the world anymore

I understand why there is a stairway to heaven and a highway to hell!

But you can never specify what specific law has been violated

Not everything is a human right

Elaborate please cant say I see it this way but if compelling evidence exist please present it.

Upholding U.S. federal law.

The infants are upset because he doesn't play the game, Thankfully!

Victims have rights too. That's seems to be forgotten

Maybe the rest of the world you speak of is part of the problem.

Deportations is not undermining human rights. It is enforcing the law just like every other country does with people who unlawfully enter their countries.

We live in a global economy. We need allies. We can't separate ourselves from the rest of the world. But we could give 40 billion to Argentina

Funny enough you don't get arrested for memes in the US.

Let's hear what human rights have actually been violated, including the context in which alleged violations have occurred. To the ones who will laugh at this... I know I am triggering you with this. The joke's on you😉

Human rights are the new world order?

The rules based international order is good at talking about a problem. When it comes to solving them, not so much

America is not a democracy, it's a republic where we're allowed to have a voice. If the world doesn't like that, I've got some advice for you.

The Hague is waiting for him.

I love how everybody like has all these accusations, but don’t explicitly say how

Are you high?

Yeah, he’s a real mover shaker! It’s why I voted for him. Best president ever!

Someone is sad the USA is finally standing up for itself. Boo hoo.

That's some seriously impressive mental gymnastics

Hard to Cheat when there are rules.

Families living in fear under the Trump administration’s mass deportation agenda, they are afraid to leave their homes, send their children to school, go to work, or seek medical care. Some are skipping life-saving treatment just to avoid detention. Despite a projected $2.9 billion budget deficit, California chose compassion over cruelty, funding food assistance, basic needs, and legal support through local organizations. While critics attack the decision, the message is clear: human dignity matters. California will not turn its back on families when they are most vulnerable. Governor Newsom should be commended for his humanitarian efforts to protect those in need. ... See MoreSee Less

How about you help your citizens who can't afford heat and food

If they are here illegally, they should self deport, fill out the paperwork, follow the process and return as legal, legitimate immigrants. Many of us arrived in the US by going through the process and following the law. It's not that hard....time consuming, yes, but worth it. I've never, ever worried about being deported or detained.

Maybe they should use the time in their homes to get their paperwork in order, and file for legal citizenship.

Immigrants are those who followed the process of coming here legally. Everybody supports them.

We love and should give a leg up to immigrants that have a desire to assimilate and be productive Americans, it is totally a different story if they are in our country illegally. You would do well to know the difference.

Immigrants or illegal immigrants. There is a huge difference.

If I move to California would I qualify for this program. I’d be an immigrant from Washington

Don’t forget allot of the names in the files live in Cali. Let’s focus there first.

Maybe they can read his speaches while he eats KFC

Maybe they can help him read in what ever language

My question is legal or illegal or both?

He then said "don't move near me"

It's kind of like when you don't have a license, but you're driving. (You really should get your paperwork in order.)

Just the California Citizens

California's economy depends on our immigrant workers.

Just it's residents

They understood the possible consequences when they came here unfortunately

LoL, who's going to pick our grapes

Have an ice day

Maybe he can get them to teach him how to read.

Id rather see affordable housing actually be a thing or help tackle the homeless problem. If we can do that while helping immigrants sure, but clearly it seems we can't and if I had to choose, Americans and in this case Californians should come first. As they say, how can we help others if we can't help ourselves.

Seen a very informative documentary, I think it is important that others see it too

If you are illegal leave now. It's the right thing to do.

"No, seriously, I want to know if you like my hair..."

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of people placed into deportation proceedings for the first time in 2025 had no criminal conviction, according to a Guardian analysis of DHS records. This directly contradicts the Trump administration’s claim that it is targeting “the worst of the worst.” Only 23% had any conviction, mostly for nonviolent or immigration offenses. Deportation in practice has targeted those who are most visible and vulnerable, disproportionately people of color. This was not about crime; it was about racialized enforcement, political scapegoating, and expanding detention under a false narrative. ... See MoreSee Less

If you are fishing for yellow fin tuna and you catch a blue fin you are not throwing the blue fin back

Well… yeah… not many Canadians or Europeans crossing. Mainly from South American countries… soo…

Doesn’t have to have criminal conviction. But last I look 70 percent had one criminal conviction not violent that’s even according to democrat think tank

Horse hockey… 🙄

And I can't get an ID because I'm brown. 🤣

You know every time I read one of these it says they didn’t have a criminal record. We don’t care that’s not the point they committed a crime whether they have a record of it or not.

We weren't overrun by Sweden and Norway!

This is not true. The Guardians analysis said this percentage did not have a violent criminal record. Non violent crimes include DUI, drug dealing, human trafficking, financial crimes, etc. and it does not include any criminal charges or convictions that happened outside of the US.

It is not the color of the skin that makes one eligible for deportation!

The Guradiam is.your source? 😆 🤣 😂

Hes doing a great job

The first time you commit a felony you have no previous convictions

Show us verifiable evidence showing that he is doing this because the color of their skin, bet you can’t

Or maybe it’s their immigration status😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Funny .. citizens of the US of all skin colors aren't getting deported... So that can't be the common factor

Maybe they should be eating tacos

When I fish, I target certain species BUT if others bite, then into the pan they go. ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL

- 73% no criminal conviction / of that 31% have criminal accusations pending, coming up, pre convictions - 26% with criminal convictions - 5% Violent Crimes (2-3% of the 73% would when convicted making it 7-8%) - 100% criminal act of breaking 8 U.S.C. 1325. This is most always often treated down as civil misdemeanor (but isn't) due to costs and expedition. But IS a criminal offense. - 3-7% of the 73% often are found to have a felony due to re entry but its dropped and pleaded to deportation

Soon they will deport the orange man because of his color of his skin. 😆

Just being in the country illegally is an arrestable and deportable offense, Overstaying a visa or work permit is also a deportable offense, Also note a state granted asylum doesn’t mean it’s lawful under federal laws. All asylum matters must go through federal immigration to be lawful.

And you're going off of the 400,000 number so that's roughly what around 50 some thousand people who had violent criminal convictions and 100% of them were criminals

That’s a good start. A little common sense goes a long way!

Nice try. Next

Check the source. The guardian (LOL) let’s get real people

Did they follow the proper procedure? 😱 they didn't? Who could've foreseen consequences to their actions?
