Another Of Trump’s Quixotic Imperial Designs

Trump’s proposed “Board of Peace” built around heads of state, including Russia, is structurally ill-suited to end the Israel–Hamas war and to govern postwar Gaza in any sustainable way At a press conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump unveiled his newly formed Board of Peace to end the Israel-Hamas war. During a…

Are There 10 Courageous Republicans Who Can Save America?

I beg every Republican official to take a moment and ask themselves: Am I truly living up to my oath of office to defend and protect the Constitution? Am I upholding America’s democracy and freedoms for which millions have perished to protect? Am I fighting for what’s right, opposing what’s wrong, and embracing what’s morally…

The Turkish Kurds: Erdoğan’s Folly On Full Display

Since the 2016 coup attempt, Erdoğan has built a regime in which power is centralized, freedoms are curtailed, and dissent is met with an iron fist. Now that there is a historic opportunity to end the conflict with the Kurds, Erdogan is seeking surrender rather than a dignified, sustainable solution Nearly a decade after Turkey’s…

Only The Rising Of The People Can Stop Trump

When a government violates democratic principles, large-scale peaceful demonstrations can send a strong message. It’s a way for people to collectively demonstrate their commitment to democratic values and advocate for change without resorting to violence. The massive protests that followed the killing of Renee Good by ICE in Minneapolis were not spontaneous; it was an…

As Bangladesh heads toward national elections, Amnesty International is sounding the alarm. In an open letter to Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus, Amnesty Secretary General Agnès Callamard urges the interim government to guarantee human rights, protect freedom of expression, and uphold the rule of law during the election period. The letter warns against the misuse of anti-terror laws to silence journalists, failures to protect media outlets and minorities, and growing threats to civic space. Elections cannot be free or credible when people fear violence or arrest for speaking out. Bangladesh’s interim authorities must prove their commitment to human rights, not in words, but through action.

Sexual violence has long been used by criminal groups in Haiti to terrorize communities—but the brutality is escalating. A new report by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) shows a sharp rise in gang-related sexual violence, often involving multiple perpetrators, firearms, and death threats. Since 2015, MSF has treated nearly 17,000 survivors in Port-au-Prince, with cases tripling since 2022. What’s most alarming is how few survivors can access care in time. Most arrive too late for lifesaving treatment, while safe shelters and support services remain critically scarce. Haiti’s international partners must urgently restore and increase funding for health, protection, and justice. ... See MoreSee Less

Amazing the other 2/3 of the island can be a stable society.

Trump was right about it being a third world ghetto

You are complete scum alon benmeir!

Why don't you mentioned that the Democrats are bringing these fucking rapist and murderers to America. Jerk off

We have escalating sexual violence here because of illegal immigrants. Fuck Haiti.

Yet you wanna protect the very Haitian men that commit these atrocities. The very men that are in the United States that we’re trying to remove. You are the reason why 1713 American citizens have been murdered by illegal immigrants. Your continued empathy for the evil that has entered our country. You forgot about the empty of the American citizen.

Greece is moving to criminalize compassion. A new immigration bill links humanitarian organizations and aid workers to criminal activity, imposing draconian prison sentences and fines for life-saving assistance. Introduced just after the acquittal of 24 aid workers wrongly prosecuted for search-and-rescue operations, the bill codifies a pattern of harassment already condemned by the UN and the Council of Europe. It grants sweeping powers to shut down NGOs and punish volunteers on suspicion alone. This is not happening in a vacuum. If the EU continues to tolerate these abuses, it becomes complicit in dismantling humanitarian principles it claims to uphold. ... See MoreSee Less

Greece saw how well Poland was doing and decided to follow suit.

Maybe the countries who have the people leaving as refugees should fix their issues and focus on their people? It is no one else’s responsibility. How about you open your home to them? Fund them, let them live with you, use your resources. Then tell us how it goes ;)

Refugees should ideally go to countries of similar societal/ religious backgrounds.

Looks like Greece found their balls, good for them! Let's hope this creates a domino effect sooner rather than later.

So the Greeks are finally waking up? Awesome.

Wait until everyone figures out that we all live on the same planet and that our survival as a species is totally dépendant upon us learning how to live together peacefully.

Greece has seen that prosperity comes from home, not abroad.

Ben-Meir? Ya don’t say?

There’s nothing wrong with helping people in their own country. They don’t have to come to another country to get help. That’s why we have the UN.

It's not the job of successful nations to take care of the people from those that aren't.

Well, they have the right to protect their own country, i guees?

Transparently over simplifying the issue. If someone is fleeing persecution, they don't need to cross several safe refuges to get to a desired location. They get refuge in the first safe place they come to then go back to their natal country when the situation is stable. Anything else is not in the definition of refugee, it's migration for other reasons. Want versus need.

Protecting the future of your children is what compassion is about first and foremost

If true, it sounds like Greece is tired of being invaded too.

Incredibly based if true. Keep in mind, this is the peaceful solution. It will escalate.

Open borders are NOT compassionate

So, they are Making Greece Great Again.

Sounds like a step in the right direction. These "refugees" pass by several counties that share their culture, beliefs and religion to come to modern, wealthy, western, mostly Christian countries. Then they think they're going to make the place they fled to like the place they fled from. If they want a better life they can create change in their country of origin.

Good for Greece.

Greece getting it right!!

Wonderful. If you want to help foreigners, you are welcome to go to foreign countries and help them there.

Good for Greece, time for countries to wake up and start protecting their own borders and culture

The guilt-tripping stopped working like 3 years ago.

It's not immigration it's an invasion

What is happening in Minneapolis should alarm every community in every state. This is not a local issue; it is a national warning. When federal agents operate with violence, secrecy, and impunity, no one is protected. Across Minneapolis, people are standing together, filming, documenting, protesting, and refusing silence. That solidarity must now spread. From New York to California, from border towns to major cities, people must demand accountability, transparency, and respect for human life. Solidarity is our strongest defense against abuse of power. If we allow this to happen to one community, we accept that it can happen to all. ... See MoreSee Less

The ironic part is I agree with you on the first two sentences. We do disagree on the cause.

I support ice.

For a “national”issue it sure seems to be rather localized.

You could always just follow the law too. Also an option......

If it can happen to one of us, it can happen to all of us.

Stay off the tracks and you won't get hit by a train. It's real simple. Works every time.

Id like to take a minute to discuss accountability. Do we feel every person should be held accountable for their wrong doing or law breaking? And i do mean everyone.

To our great law enforcement officers: The majority of Americans support ICE! Keep up the great work guys! This is what we voted for! 🇺🇸👍💪 Don’t believe me? Just look at the number of likes and hearts my comment will get vs laughs and angry faces……

"Be the answer to your ancestors Prayers." I just heard this on a show that I was watching and I think this should hold true today. I think our country has lost sight of what our ancestors came to this country to do . I feel our country is very short-sighted now with the thoughts that there are people in our country that don't belong. I'm sure when our ancestors came here they felt that same sentiment that they didn't belong. But look what our ancestors have done and we survived. We will survive. We all need to stay strong and stay the course to keep the freedom that our constitution gives us. We should all remember that.

Which one were you, Siegfried or Roy?!

When communities act violently towards society there are major problems.

When all jurisdictions work cooperatively ICE is realizing its mission that will benefit each and every American citizen.

When a protester attacks the police the police have the right to protect themselves

It’s a real simple equation; don’t interfere with immigration enforcement and there will be nothing of which immigration enforcement will enjoy impunity from. More importantly, if they seem to enjoy impunity, maybe it’s because they’re on the right side of the law, and you are not.

Perhaps everyone over reacting to everything is a problem.

It is a local issue. iCE is functioning quite well in other states. The problem in MN is that the local leaders have decided to not control the protests. If the Klan was walking down the street the local police would be deployed to keep the two groups separate- but not for ICE. If local law enforcement we’re allowed to do their job there would be far fewer issues in MN

I need to comment on the amount of foreigners starting conversations about ICE, with most of them against them, and even sounding socialist. It just seems to be more and more lately. I'd love to hear more about who they are. Where they are. And why they are so interested.

Ice only uses force when they are attacked

Ice baby ice take them out

What does the Constitution say in regards to Federal, State & Local Law???

The Retard Revolt is comedy gold😆

No one is above the law

That was the whole idea for the sheep since it began.

Nah people smart enough know to get there paperwork in order and not interfere with federal agents or PD so No not worried at all

We must stand up together. If they strip the rights of some there will come a time everyone no longer have the rights or protection. Stand up together and don't stop until this ends. Just keep doing as God bid us to do.
